For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

March 28, 2020

Dear St. Rose Parishioners,
Blessings and peace to everyone.

In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we received a memo yesterday that the Cardinal has directed that all churches be locked during the week and on weekends.  Of course this sadness us, but we pray that it contributes to our safety and well-being.  There are no celebrations of any sacraments except in emergencies. Please continue to check our website for any further information.
  • St. Rose of Lima Mass will be available for viewing options at home on Sunday at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 1:30 PM on these channels: Comcast 36, Verizon 33.
  • Mass will also be available on-demand on this website: https://httvonline.org/live/ ONLY during the Sunday Mass times noted above.
  • In addition, all of our Masses can be viewed on You Tube whenever you like by going to this website: www.youtube.com/user/stroseshorthills
Tomorrow, Friday, March 27th, the Pope will offer a special “Urbi et Orbi” blessing (to the city and to the world) at 1:00pm Eastern Time (6:00pm Rome time).  All are invited to participate.  Please see attachment for more details.
These days while we suspend access to our church, our faith unites us profoundly.  Our belief in the coming resurrection makes us the parish we are.
With every good thought and prayer,

Fr. Harahan
